Travel Information

Travel arrangements can be coordinated either by Mike Schlappi Communications or your meeting planners.

Round trip coach airfare and ground transportation to and from the event is required. Mike can either take a taxi, rent a vehicle, or your hosts can meet him at the airport.

Mike does not need any special accommodations due to his disability. However, a handicap-accessible hotel room is preferred if an overnight stay is required.

Preferred Room Set Up:

Elevated platform to assure visibility (Ramp is nice but not essential)
Audio Visual equipment – Clip-on lavaliere microphone, projector, screen, and audio patch
American Flag in a stand on the platform
A small skirted table on stage for laptop and Olympic medals
Table available to autograph books and sell products following the presentation if appropriate
